![]() ![]() ![]() The tour edge is a great driver in my book, super light just not built well enough for me. I recently went shopping for a new driver to replace my Tour Edge Exotic with the green Aldila NV-Exotic 65-s shaft. This is the longest, straightest driver I have ever hit hands down. As in SLICE.just something to think about.my pro-v1 days are gone. If your swing speed can't compress the ball at impact, much of the energy is converted to side-spin. Side note: The greatest tip from a pro I ever got is as follows: for the amateur golfer with an average or slower swing speed.hit only low-compression balls. All in all, the best driver I've ever used. Mis- hits are forgiven yet the club lets you know about it with nice feedback. I cut it down 1/2 " and re-gripped it and it has been great! Getting good distance and straighter than I've hit in a long time. ( There was a time when I could rip the.never mind.). ![]() I chose the HT (High Trajectory) 13 degree on the advice of a shop pro who wisely concluded that at almost 60 years old my swimg speed is way to slow to have any buiseness hitting a 9.5 or even a 10.5 degree driver. I bought this after hitting my brothers 9.5 degree superfast a couple of times and liking the light feel and (percieved?) increase in swing speed it gave. ![]()
